Hoorah! Only a few games after my recent tabletop defloration, I've won my first tourney. With 4 wins and 1 draw (the last featured a 1 on my gfi into the endzone on turn 16), I can say that my dark elves did very well for themselves.

I did have some lucky matchups: I got to play both vs slann and goblins.
Vs Slann started hard with my receiving half ending in 0-0 on a 6+ slann intercept, and only KO's which recovered. Second half waiting for his rerolls to run out worked, and ended in 2-0.
Perhaps the funniest match was where I beat norse 3-2 in a game where I suffered 8 blocking casualties.
Chaos dwarves were a challenge, and the draw was against the @2 (also Delves) who lost another game.

So now I have a shiny new ratmen team to paint!
