In the past week and a half I entered 5 teams into the fray to see how we can do....
My results:
3 Dwarf teams and 4 games; 3 Wins, 1 loss.
2 High elf teams, 2 games...2 losses.

1st SMACK- My High Elfs with 7 skills, 2 blocks, 4 Dodges and 1 Tackle were matched against a Dwarf squad loaded with Guard, a MB and a block & leader runner. For obvious reasons I knew this would be tough because my skills were pretty voided out. Anyway, we held our own and lost on T8 of OT. Overall a pretty bad draw.

1st BRAWL- On paper, this should have been a good match-up. Yeah, I would take a few casualties, but I will be in it...Nuffle had other plans.

2nd SMACK- My dwarf team versus a tough Orc team. I matched up ok with them but their Strength in BO's combined with their guard and Stand Firm proved to be my undoing. I just couldn't get any push on them and they were breaking my armor pretty consistently. Maybe next time.

2nd BRAWL-
The rats didn't stand a chance after an opening blitz and great kick. I stalled out the entire game and preserved a 1-0 win so as not to take any hits from the clawpomber. Next up some Goblins. As long as the dice hold true we should be in the final against a Chaos team.

2nd SMACK, Round 2- My dwarfs, up against some tough Dwarfs, I really didn't think I stood a chance. My Dwarf team is really...strange; Pretty fast and agile without a lot of Guard and MB for a DWARF team over 200 TV. Halfway through the first half, the game was going about how I figured as I easily scored on offense. I screwed up at the end of the first half by not moving two guys or I may have scored a second time after a blitz result. In the second half Vaclav's Dwarfs started making our knees tremble. My St 5 blitzer helped hold the middle of the field but his support was dropping off. Vaclav was suffering from a poor connection and a lot of lag so I think he was getting flustered despite putting a really good offensive grind in....He was so flustered he forgot to score on Turn 8 and send the game into OT. I really do not think I deserved this game but on to the next round!!! Sorry for the circumstances Vaclav! Anyway, I am on to the final against a tough Chaos team. This is the only team I have ever won anything with in regards to tournaments so maybe we can pull off some magic! :-)

Royal Rookie Rumble Dwarf vs Dwarf. Out of the 4 RRR's I have entered this is my second mirror match. I really detest mirror matches at low TV; especially Dwarfs. Depsite having some FF I lost the FAME roll. Opponent won the toss and chose to receive. And the fans decided to make it interesting by throwing in a couple rocks. They threw one at one of his Troll Slayers and stunned him....they also threw one at one of my blitzers and knock him out. This could be big. He proceeds to march down the field caged up and when I try and get some position I roll a lot of pushes so I am unable to get around the edge(missing a blitzer was pretty big here.) In turn 5 I finally make some big rolls, gain some positioning and force him to dodge into the EZ for the Turn 6 score. Once again the kickoff result is huge...Perfect D. I did manage some OK line hits, but never sniffed their armor and this got me well out of position so scoring would be tough. I broke my last blitzer down the sideline and thought their was an outside chance. His turn 7 is good; he gets some good positioning and hits back pretty well. BUT I still have a chance so on Turn 7 I make some blocks and can hopefully attempt a pass. Nope. My blitzer skulls and badly hurts himself. Great...now I am down to no blitzers. But wait...the KO roll goes OK and we are only down 1 Dwarf. OK, with some change in the dice we can easily score a tie and send this to OT. HA! We roll 2 double skulls after the kickoff and Seriously injure a Line Dwarf. Well this sealed the game because we lost positioning and were down 2 Dorfs. We made a go at scoring but we just could never get the block dice going. So I am making a new RRR team....
