Heros born in dire times
Dark River Rivals receives. This is the 1st game of the rookie team. Coach hopes they will be tougher as the noble opposition. But the team is soft, cant stay on the field, cant tackle, cant hold onto the ball. It is the middle of the 1st half, down 0-1, down by 3 players, when Lethe was reborn as a hero. His teammates demonstrated that they cant be trusted. He wanted to win badly anyway. So he stepped up mightily.
1st act
Turn5 1st half - Asked for the ball, CAUGHT it (cough), run forward. He was brought down, but recovered and SCORED without help from teammates.
2nd act
Halftime - Sweltering heat. Lethe told teammates that anybody who is absent from pitch will die. Heat is no excuse!
3rd act
Turn2 2nd half - Lethe pressured the thrower. The pressure was soft initially, but then turnover, and the thrower is exposed with stunts. Lethe did those stunts, hit the thrower, powed him, and INJURED him! Picked up the ball, and run forward.
He was brought down by the opposition, but he fougth back. Which leads to next act.
4th act
Turn3 2nd half - Lethe blitzed, picked up the ball, and SCORED again!
5th act
Lethe inspired by example, and the team responded with a BLITZ!
6th act
Turn4 2nd half - After the blitz the teammates were powed to the ground. The only chance to stop the other side is to intercept the ball. And Lethe INTERCEPTED it!
7th act
Turn5 2bd half - After the interception Lethe pulled the pigskin down, secured the ball, and run forward for the SCORE!
To me Lethe was the MVP of the match. Shame it did not happen.

While he made an epic performance indeed; knowing you had a cas, TD, and int already, I'd certainly have gone for a cp to fill out the Larson.
