Creating DLA - recruitment
DLA stands for Draft League America. It is a draft league, as the main talent acquisition is through from big draft pools rather through skilling. America, cause it intends to be friendly for that time zone. The 2 experienced founders and commissioners of DLE (Draft League Europe), Arcayn and bghandras are recruiting for DLA now. We guarantee based on the success of DLE (which is running in its 6th season, mimicking NFL schedules with 32 teams), that this will be similarly persistent.
1st season features
- Separate 2 conferences according to time zones. The West coast of USA + Europe time zones will be in one conference, and the East coast of USA time zone + the rest will be in another. (The European coaches are expected to be able to start a game between bbtime 6.00 and 8.00.)
- Poll about rules. The league will need some sort of attrition to keep new drafts interesting. The source of that attrition will be voted upon, as also other aspects of the rules.
- Bigger than normal draft, so teams start with stacked rosters right out of the gate.
*EDIT on scheduling: The option of an all American conference and an all European conference is also on the table.
Contact me and or Arcayn and ask for invitation to the Discord server of DLA to get in touch with others, and to read and debate the options.
The ideal candidate:
- like to be part of a community
- like to experience use of custom rosters and fully customized teams
- try new challenges
- love NFL and or drafting
- dreamed about trading bbowl players
- able to play in a 7 days schedule
- able to plan in advance
- persistent
- if there is any trouble, then communicate to staff and opponents alike, well in advance

It is all about structure, process and participation. The trick is that i dont do it alone, but the community (see DLE) does a lot. It is really a team effort. Actually the best part of these leagues are the community.

I could do it, I might not have the most time in the world, I like football (American) but I dont follow it too much. I just like the Eagles.
