We are accepting applications to the 145 open-round robin tournament due to start on Nov. 21st! That's this coming Saturday. The tournament will run for 28 days. You can enter one team (LEAGUE only please) with a maximum TW (Tournament Weight, bottom of your team page) of 1200k. The team needs to be readied and not entered into any other tournaments. Apply here. Your team can still join in after the tournament has begun.

What is the 145 League?
The 145 League is a league designed primarily for coaches who are new to Blood Bowl, who are struggling with the basics of blocking and caging and wish to learn the game amongst coaches of a similar level. If you are not sure about your eligibility, or aren't a new coach but have a particular area you wish to improve in jump on our discord channel and ask (see links below). More established coaches are welcome on the condition that they abide by our central tenet and are playing games designed to teach.

We strive to be a welcoming, friendly and encouraging environment, focussing on mastering the basics and enjoying the game as opposed to cut throat win-at-all-costs (you can easily find this in the more competitive divisions if this is your jam).

A staple of the League is the open round-robin tournament which runs for 28 days where coaches can arrange the matches casually. These matches are usually arranged in a PM thread or on our discord channel.

The 145 League will also intermittently run tournaments that mimic some of FUMBBL's main tournaments such as Royal Rookie Rumbles and KO tournaments - these help adjust coaches to the intricacies of scheduled matches.

What is the 145 League not?

The 145 league is NOT a place for more established coaches to bring predatory teams to prey on our less experienced coaches. Teams have to be manually approved (by our league staff) and your 4x claw mb team will not escape our attention. Do not waste your time.

The 145 league is NOT competitive. Although we do declare a winner, the main focus should be improving play and supporting each other. We encourage our coaches to discuss their matches after the game and highlight areas of weakness/poor play to each other in a friendly fashion.

How do I get started?
First, create a team in the League division (for new coaches we recommend Orcs/Humans/Undead usually), then apply them to the 145 Leagues and Tournaments group by clicking the banner below and navigating to the Teams tab. Select your team from the drop down menu and hit Apply for membership. The team must be readied, and not taking part in another tournament. You will then have to wait until the team is accepted into the group and switched into the tournament - once this is done, you will receive a FUMBBL PM.

4. Do not apply a team that is in another league or already scheduled.
5. Applying several teams does not speed up the process of approving your application
6. Do not apply a team which has player names or a team name which breaks site rules (see Teams and Rosters subheading here)
