As I said about your last GLN article "Don't expect to always win if you're a good coach is you don't want to be frustrated, but if you play Stunties, don't expect to win at all." That will indeed make your victories orgasmic. ;)

I do care, especially because the scheduler sucks so much for stunties and nothing is done to improve it, while it would be so easy (reducing the noob protection to 15 games and/or giving a TV 100 modifier).

Matt, if you're only having fun when you're winning, then why betray that by not maximizing your chances of winning every step of the way, from the teams you play as, to the division you're playing in, to the opponents you play? Do you want to feel you earned the win too or is that not important? Seems like quite the balancing act, getting 'quality' wins while maximizing your odds of winning by micromanaging your metagaming.

Because I don't want to win by choosing easy opponents, nor I like to waste time to find an opponent in Ranked, being unable in most cases of playing exactly the team I want to play (bash teams don't find games as easily as elves).
I like variety and playing different teams, not only the strongest ones, so I'd like to play stunty teams in Box without having the disadvantage of same TV pairing game after game.

It sounds like winning isn't the only condition for fun for you, why not run with that and enjoy the thrill of challenging yourself with a team that was designed to be a challenge? I'm nearing 100 games with Gobbos in the Box and while I've lost a ton, I've also played some of my favorite games of all time as them. When I look back on the time I've spent here, I'll be comfortable with the fact that my record is what it is and I spent a lot of time losing in the pursuit of winning. Sure winning is fun but it's obviously not the only reason we continue to play.

Now now guys. Matt has his opinion and at least is open about it. The whole point of Bill's post is to have fun. We all have fun differently. In fact I think I've played with him since before fumble on funnyfinger's site. Just all agree to play lots of BB and have fun!

Playing hundreds of Goblin games would ruin too much my profile, and besides the profile, I don't like to spend all my time losing and letting my opponent have fun only because I use a tier 3 team, it's giving away free wins.
A stunty game from time to time is fine, but losing streaks are not.
I don't play to entertain my opponents with free wins, sorry.

I love using my Goblins. It does get demoralizing when people act like they are too cool for school against them though. I activated them to have fun and not to farm another guys team and that's how many Box people act. I just choose a different theme and different race regularity and go with that. I care less about winning and more about fun.
