150 lb humans? Pfft...lightweights!
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 05:43:09
How many of those folks are over 150 lbs?
Posted by mrt1212 on 2017-09-25 05:43:47
Oooh Tesla, fun.
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 05:47:49
I will put it on auto-pilot if you like, and we can circumnavigate the country while swilling whiskey! Got 4 weeks to spare?
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 05:50:34
Vulcan Machine Guns are a must.
I have wrote to Mr. Musk with no response as of yet, however.
Kind of hard to have a post-apocalyptic car without some hardware!
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 05:55:02
I need a name for my car's computer.
It can't be Siri, Cortana, Alexis, or any of that non-sense...
It is a self-driving car.
Jeeves comes to mind, but I think we can come up with better.
Posted by Gozer_the_Gozerian on 2017-09-25 05:58:37
Keeping in line with the redneck theme, how about "Old Bessie."
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 06:03:08
It will be delivered December 2018...
That doesn't seem old at this point.
Good thought however.
Maybe something more along the lines of Moonshine Angel?
Posted by Gozer_the_Gozerian on 2017-09-25 06:19:23
Very poetic. How about "Edison", because it sounds smart, like a computer, and he was Tesla's rival?
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 06:21:39
You nailed it sir.
Posted by Kondor on 2017-09-25 06:31:09
Does the Tesla come with a gun turret? If not, in true redneck fashion, the Tesla must be modified at home.
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 06:37:05
Kondor, that was my thought, exactly!
I will mount twin .50 cals!

and that folks is how Car Wars got started...invented by Brasky
Posted by Badoek on 2017-09-25 07:53:44
In reply to your question: you do, and I doubt there's many more than a handful who do that too (or similarly).
On average human weight (use the region one for quick overview): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_body_weight
Now I wonder about average body weight of dogs in those regions...
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 09:20:32
So, AS I SAID: MORE THAN MOST HUMANS (136 lbs being average)!
Thanks for dropping the mic for me Badoek.

I bet my dogs can beat up your dogs. :P

Only if they are walruses MH.
Posted by morehouse on 2017-09-25 15:25:31
Hehe, naw just Pit bulls and American Bulldogs. Natural born brawlers.
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 15:35:03
My St. Bernard (Bison) swallowed the head of a 75 lb pitbull in July.
The pitbull busted out of the iron gate, and bit his neck. My Saint swallowed his entire head.
Win = Bison.
The little dude in a wife-beater ran out and cried.
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-25 15:39:42
My 13 year-old son (Avery) had to tackle my Akita. He was about to go after the owners. Both of mine were on leashes, but they don't take kindly to acts of violence.
I have never been more proud.
I never thought my Saint was a fighter. I just hoped he'd drag me to safety if I went down due to the elements or something whilst hiking in the Artic.
Who knew his last name was really Brasky?
Posted by morehouse on 2017-09-25 15:50:03
Haha nice. Jackie Boy is too clever for all that though. He's grown up with dogs twice his size from day one so he's adopted a Mayweather-esque hit and run style.
Posted by Wozzaa on 2017-09-25 23:53:54
I'd say Hero. Unless your firearms are not for hunting. Then that part is 'confused'. Heros don't use or need guns.
Posted by keggiemckill on 2017-09-25 23:58:18
What about the Punisher? He is a hero that uses guns.
I say this all depends on how you voted, and to whether you fly a confederate flag.
Posted by Wozzaa on 2017-09-26 00:55:34
Posted by Throweck on 2017-09-26 11:42:23
I'd say Punisher is more an anti-hero.
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-26 13:34:49
I use my firearms for enjoyment, and for employment (Anyone who says they have guns for protection is either fooling themselves, or has one strapped on at all times, including in the shower).
@Keggie: I don't think 99% of people could recognize the actual Confederate flag. But I think you meant the Confederate Battle Flag. I don't fly either.

Before the internet was a thing, we had something called Bulletin Board Systems.
My Handle was Bishop.
How cool is that?
Posted by Gozer_the_Gozerian on 2017-09-27 02:41:15
Do you ever miss the sound dial-up used to make?
Posted by Wozzaa on 2017-09-27 06:59:03
@BillBrasky. Very cool. And ya sound like some sorta Bishop kinda fella! 6 for you,
Posted by DrPoods on 2017-09-27 16:20:32
Braskivate all dawgz.
Easiest 6 ever given.
Oh, and Hobo with a Shotgun. That would suit a "redneck-ified" Tesla.
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-27 19:38:14
Gozer, I still dream of my 300 baud modem in my nighmares!
Posted by finster5 on 2017-09-28 04:29:08
You need to get an underground bunker, provisioned with months or years of unperishable goods (along with firearms and ammunition). Also are you a government conspiracy theorist? Once you add these to your resume, on paper I would not be able to tell you and my brother apart.
Posted by fidius on 2017-09-28 05:34:14
Tesla, nice. Speaking as a (theoretical) U.S. taxpayer: you're welcome.
Posted by BillBrasky on 2017-09-28 18:54:24
@finster5, I work for the State of Mississippi. So, no I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I do have non-perishable goods for 10 years. I have thousands of rounds of ammunition. I have sustainable energy. Some would consider this a survivalist lifestyle, or in pop-culture, they say "prepper" as in preparing for some big collapse.
I don't worry about a collapse, but if stuff goes south, I do have the means to survive. I also own a plethora of camping gear in the event that urban life becomes untenable.

All about self sufficiency... no conflict at all. Off the grid. The real contradiction is an internet connection...
