Chief Sommelier Vlad in the Hospital Bed Again
After being crippled by a wizard in Stunty Cup first game and having watched the second one from TV in his hospital bed, Chief Sommelier Vlad has been seriously injured again in 2nd match of Loser's Bracket. This time has been Gong the Giant Gorilla who blitzed him one dice and pushed him into the crowd. He is obviously a fan favorite no more, in fact the fans killed him. The apo patched him and the death became a MNG, but for the second time in two games he didn't regenerate. To react to this terrible loss the three Counts started to hit like demons, inflicting 9 casualties and almost clearing the pitch. A great Shaman tried to surf away to TD, but Count Bigbelly's shadowing skill finally made him stumble after 3 dodges and game was lost for the Forest Gobs. The Strigs picked the ball, rushed to TD and scored the 2-0. Fans celebrated, even the ones who tried to slaughter Chief Sommelier Vlad.
After the game, while six dwarves were putting him in a ambulance, the Sommelier was approached by the press, who asked him about this uncanny, extremely unlucky succession of injuries.
"That gorilla..." said the big Strig "I thought we were friends. I even bought him one or two rounds when I met him at the Dead Gnome Pub, he looked nice enough. You know what? This BloodBowl ruined me. Everyone hates you when you are a ST6 Strig Lord, the money you have, the fame you got, the SPP they are never gonna have. I'm sick and tired, I have another week in hospital to face and the team will suffer without me, Stunty Cup might be over for us. Hell, we are in S.P.L.A.T. season 2 as well, I can't believe Crook made this to me. Please if this is a nightmare wake me up. I want to be a Snotling. No wizards or gorillas hit you when you are a Snotling, they just leave you alone. Please, I can't... I am not... I..."
Obviously he is in a bad moment. Fact is the next game will be hard without him, this time NBOTFD don't have the cash to hire star players and must only count on the 3 best Crypt Ghouls in Stunty. Will they make it? Will they go on and advance to the final? Follow them and you'll see.

After surfing the Sommelier with Gong, the Sticky Web Clan should have rolled those Strigs. But a cas or ko on EVERY blitz (even vs. Shadow's AV9!) meant they were down too many players to mount an effective defense, and their total inability to knock players down throughout the match resulted in a very lopsided loss.
The Clan was a pimped out 17-6-3 heading into the Cup, where they were handed two of the worst dicings of their existance, including the loss of Superstar Shaman Feggit Aboudit in their opening match.
