Permanently injured in a game against Ruette, today Doctor Fangs, founder and deus ex machina of Never Date Before First Bite, announced his decision to retire. This is only the last blow that the team is suffering, after the deaths of Baron Von Bloodlustowski and Sweet Gina Deathbite and the crippling of Boris Graves, this last month has been terrible for the team and frankly the spirits are at the moment very low. Rumors were anticipating Doctor Fangs's decision, but until the last minute everybody was hoping he might have changed his mind. But when he walked in the hall full of reporters, old friends and team mates, his face was speaking volumes. I have heard thralls crying, and I have seen vampireS cursing and swearing vengeance. Fangs said goodbye to the team he created in his own way and his polite style, like the gentleman he's always been:

"No need to explain what happened to us in this last month. We lost two legends and Boris was crippled, everytime we were trying to raise our heads from the mud another blow hit us. Call it Nuffle's will, call it bad luck, call it failed regeneration, it doesn't matter. What matters is after the deaths of Gina and The Baron I lost my focus. They were more than team mates to me, they were friends and young brothers, we've been together in so many battles and when I buried their coffins I buried part of me with them. I was gettin older and tired, so when that wardancer came for me in last game I was almost hoping for the final blow, a deliverance. My neck broke in three spots, the pain is still terrible, but I am alive. But I can't play anymore like this, I know the team is going through a major rebuild and I don't want my TV to be a burden. I quit. It's not a big deal. Never Date Before First Bite is more than the sum of its players, we are a team destined to be legendary and I know that someone else will forever raise the banner with the hearts and the babes. Last thing I want to say: it has been an honor to play the Midnight Mayhem Tour with you, we challenged all the Fummbl races without fear, I will forever remember those times. I will dedicate myself to my lovely wife now, she is with child and I think the most hard game for me is starting now: being a good father and a caring husband. I left today, I already passed the leadership of the team to Boris when he became legend and I know he will do good. Goodbye, friends. Has been a pleasure."
