Well my puny TV1700 Very Rich Rats (from the box) at least had the fortune of drawing a fellow box team for the first round. The misfortune part comes in when I learned that this team is none other than the grandfathered-and-still-kicking sexy ogrex 2. Things don't look good, but at the very least I don't need to worry about sure hands denying my strip ball. Who knows, with the help of a wiz and a gazillion other inducements, I *might* have a shot? Time will tell...

Nahh just kidding, I'm totally screwed. Nice playing with you guys, try not to get killed :)

I guess gutter runners can always pull a trick or too, so you should have a shot - especially if your inducements (wizard, master chef) work! :-)

What Cloggy said. I think your shot at winning isn't that bad, though a ST6 tentacle chaos ogre should give you pause.

Even killing a snotling will really maim this team, as he'll never be able to afford a new ones (at least until he's lost a bunch of ogres). =D

Just wish you could get 2 or 3 wizards eh?

For the inducement money of about 1.29 million, you could get three Big Guys yourself (Morg 430, RO Merc for 180, or RO Merc with Juggernaut for 230, and Headsplitter for 340 ) - though you might consider Fezglitch plus Bribes (100+n*100) for ST7 to threaten the ST6 Ogre or Glart Smashrip (210) for his Claws to threaten Ogres in general.

If you take Wiz and Chef as granted (which I would, reroll denial is crucial for the Boneheads) you are left with 790 - so that could be Glart, Merc RO with Jugg and Headsplitter for example.

So, I would say you do have a shot at winning - get the rerolls, get the leader snot, get the ag4 snot, and suddenly his teams is greatly reduced.

@ f_alk: Mercs aren't implemented, and mercs are only linemen. Stars are limited to 2 total.
@Enigma: congratz! Didn't see, but looks like a good win. The rip is a shame of a player with potential, but really a nice TV trim for the team in its current state.

against ogres, there's always a way to win, especially since a lot of them don't have block and are niggled.
