And On to Round 2!
Well in case you hadn't heard already, and you're one of the ones who cares, the Very Rich Rats made it past their first match against those infamous box ogres who only come out at night (and during majors). I'm happy with just that; anything to avoid a round 1 elimination, and against one of the favorites of the tourney too! These no name rats really know how to play under pressure!
Or maybe it wasn't the rats at all; Morg 'n Thorg and Glart Smashrip Jr. performed amazingly well, handling the brunt of the fighting seeing as they were the only ones with the strength to really bring the fight to those ogres. If it weren't for Morg in particular, we wouldn't have been able to open and exploit many of the holes we found in this game.
Thanks to vicius for a very enjoyable game, and I suppose you'll be present at the next box tournament :)
Now, as for the next matchup, either there's a massive upset and I get to face some hugely undeveloped chaos, or I end up trying to avenge my khemri against some mean-looking underworld. It'll be a fun one, I believe.

Wow congrats on that win! I am taking my very first FUMBBL cup match against a team who is as high TV as your Ogres were. I might take a few hints or two about how you used that inducements money :)

congrats on your win, have to say I'm a little gutted it was at the expense of Sexy Ogrex one of my favourite teams on the site, but all the same all upsets aer good too ;)

Latulike: Hmm, in my matchup I chose the high strength stars because of how many ogres he had with guard; no way I was going to get any good blocks in with my own players if he didn't want me to. Your one has quite a few S5 players and he outguards you too.
You're getting 1100k in inducements. Naturally you're going to want the two bloodweiser babes and the wizard, in general those are no brainers. That leaves you with 850k to blow on stars or other things. I'd personally go with Morg (430k), two extra team training (200k), and sidewinder (200k). An alternative is to drop a team training and sidewinder for the halfling master chef, and hope for good steal rolls unlike mine were. In any case though, you want more rerolls, 2 won't cut it, especially in a major.
