So it seems I went crazy over the past months and spent all of my time playing Blood bowl. I had been avoiding the black box trophy because I had trouble seeing myself completing that many games in the time given, seeing how I was playing 1 or 2 games a week usually.

Now I am close to completing my third bbt squad run for bbt 7, plus I've been playing other things... averaging closer to 2 games *per day* instead. What did I learn?

There is very little incentive in building a big team for black box. I've found myself with heaps of cash and no desire to buy more players, and I've mostly held off on buying any apo until teams got bigger through skills, often after game 10. For the same reasons I have been avoiding big guys, only using them on Black orcs and Lizardmen (of course snotlings).

Dribblesnot has been important but certainly not that big of a deal mostly. Cindy has almost never stopped me, except when I hire her and she blows up my team (2 for 2 so far).

People in general are very nice about the game, even if they are getting destroyed. I have met a few very new players while playing bbt, and because I want to protect my team and get my points I haven't been going easy on them... which a couple seemed not happy about. I really want to make any new player feel good about joining, but I have also been fouling their beaten down team into the ground....

Random skills are fun! I knew this, but I have been rolling many randoms and replacing bad rolls, because extra cash has been available.

Best team so far? Snotlings! Man, wow. 13 points at 10/3/2. Snotlings are just brutal for most newish teams, and since they continue to get match ups in that range... I learned a lot about how to manage secret weapons but still screwed it up on more than one occassion. Getting a Block troll added a lot of stability. I pitch cleared one team and came close two more times. Often just really crushing the opposition.

Khorne and Lizards are the two teams that failed to hit my secondary target of going at least even at 9 points. Khorne seems to have a skill gap issue to most teams that makes it hard to get ahead, but Khorngors are incredibly awesome. Lizards had the toughest run, with half of the games being against top quality coaches.

I might be most happy about Skaven and Nurgle, coming in at 8/6/1 and 10/2/3, I thought both teams did really well and were fun to play. I feel like I should make Nurgle my main major team :D

Vampires! Steep learning curve there, but I did well. Started with 2 vampires, team got much better once I added a third. Currently on 4, which feels like the maximum I'm ever going to use.

I have a fair chance of ending this third run on a very good score, could even make 50 points. Norse have been very very good at starting level, and my woodies have kicked into gear with a few skills on the team.
