The NAF Championship has been postponed to next year, but I have more time on my hands so continued to work on the team.
The ogre was just the standard plastic model, I really like him and didn't think he needed any changes. The colour scheme wasn't changed for him, but he did get a white undershirt like Zug has. The other change is that he has no gold, I just couldn't find any part that would suit that.
Am really happy with how his head turned out, though it didn't photograph that well. His armour does look great in the pics and with it being larger I was able to add more detailed shading.
Frank N Stein is a classic 2nd edition star player who was added back to the game recently. I have had the model laying about for ages and it is a good sculpt. His colour scheme was tricky to work out as the model wears little armour and is dominated by a jacket and t-shirt.
I decided to paint the jacket the same brown as used on straps and boots of the other players and gave him a white t-shirt, which is probably a bit too clean for an undead Blood Bowl player in hindsight.
The team was a weird mix of new, 5th edition and 2nd edition models and as I had a 2nd edition cheerleader and plenty of time decided to paint her up as well. She was painted in team colours of red, grey and white. I'm not very happy with her eyes as they look a bit off.
The team is now completed aside from numbering, basing and the display base. It is the most complete team I have done for the NAF so far, the only outstanding model is Morg. Once Forgeworld opens up again I am tempted to order him, so that the team has all stars.
