All this talk about Bloodbowl being a hobby. yes it is. Many things are, but that doesn't mean one can't be very passionate about it.

Since I met the woman who became my wife, my life has changed a lot. Not for the worse. ;) But as a result, I don't don't drink that much in the weekends anymore, I have gotten too old to play football on a decent level, and a lot of priorities has changed. But I stick with BloodBowl, and when it got hard getting TT-games(moving away from the city of the league), I re-found fumbbl.
This is where I practise with different races to get to know their strenght and weakness, not to master them, This is where I play my dead-serious games, this is where I fool around, all because I get these games nowhere else. I play to win!

But! I try always to do it with a smile, and a funny comment towards my opponent, and always try to keep a nice feel about the game. But conceeding for my case, just gives me another win. So go ahead. I don't mind. As I see it, when people conceed they agree that I am the better coach(set aside the occational dicerape). I play this game to be one of the best. God(If I believed in such a creature)knows I'm far from it, but I will not stop trying. That is what BloodBowl is to me. I have played it for so many years, that it has become a part of what I mirror myself against. I truely like the game in it's current form, and I fear for GW taking it up again to alter the rules in some crazy way.

I always said that it didn't matter to reach certain goals in my BloodBowl Career, but finishing 62nd of 912 players in the WC3, and for the moment (on paper) being the best danish Lizardman coach, does mean something. I didn't think it would. Now I aim to become part of the danish nationalteam going to Örebro for EuroBowl. Always trying to set the bar a bit higher for myself, all the time!
