This week the
Beasts of Crimson Keep take on the
Dreamers of Death and Despair. Your second favourite CabalVision programme about your second favourite team! The necrarchs have impressive speed but this will be contrasted against the endurance of the blood dragons. Coming off the back of last week's worst ever defeat, the BoCK are looking to win big and hurt things. Probably not in that order.
Against elves - and this basically being a team of Erdrils plus thein boneshields - long time readers will know that I like to concede early. But after last week's painful I have been reading about caging (need to get better). I came across the fabled vengabus, an incredibly robust defencive structure. So I was torn because I was keen to try out this formation, but then I wouldn't concede. What to do...
I can do both! Alright 0-1 down, it is time for a powerful drive.
Ah a 3 man down desperation drive it is. Let's unleash the 'power play'!
0-2 at half time. It reeks of desperation. Could we get a little more?
Perfect. This is a team that thrives under pressure, so the stage is now set for the almighty comeback.
Almost. But. Not. Quite. Facing a 0-3 loss, can the BoCK at least salvage a TD and avoid their worse ever defeat again?
Well yes and no. We did score, but then these filthy elves did a 1TTD back. Stinking elves, that explains why they have foul appearance. If it were based on looks alone, Terrible Ivan's maggot infestation would surely qualify.
Another painful, worst ever loss. Next week is now our most important game as we battle to avoid finishing last. Forunately we face the other bottom team,
Scions of Neferata. These Lahmian vampires spend their time learning how to dominate humans - simply so that they squirm less when you bite them. Pathetic. Should be a walk in the park.
