Hello beleaguered readers, fans. This season I switched to a newsletter style, to avoid spamming the blogs section (which is exactly what I'm doing now - go figure). It is now complete and can be viewed here.
If you are a regular reader, I have two requests for you:
1. Going forward I am toying with the idea of changing the format a little to reduce the number of GIFs. Some matches I have a lot of GIFs spanning long sequences of plays and I wonder if it is a bit of an overload. Maybe you don't have to see every single play. And I could take a leaf out of CrookfangRob's publications where hewrites weekly obituaries focuses on individual players / particular plays in more detail. Let me know your thoughts on this (or anything else, perhaps I curse too much?).
2. Please leave a rating on the newsletter. I'd like to get a finger on the size of the readership (whether you read for masochistic reasons or not). I enjoy writing these writeups (and rants, and unwarranted slander) but it will help to motivate me if I know that more people get something out of them too.

The GIFs are great, but probably focus on key plays/moment. Gives them more impact.

Also bear in mind repeat readers cannot rate updates to your newsletter e.g. If I rate it once I can't rate it again for new added tabs.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm a numbers guy though - people can prefer novel things, so interested to see how it's running many matches later. Plus the more viewers, the more I can charge my sponsors for their subliminal messaging I include.

I like your gifs! Actually, I like also very much the new format. I am afraid that I will stop the Swan Riders blog, since yours, the Robs and Bakadons (when he was still doing them) blogs are so amazing that makes my blog seems so outdated.In addtion, I do not have the time to learn doing gifs and so detailing sequences of play. So if you want some feedback, what you are doing is simply excellent!

Cheers. Your historian efforts were well received though! Maybe I'll write a 'how to gif BB' post sometime then. Now that I have the hang of it, it isn't so hard.
