Halfling LRBF Expansion Roster Concept
0-16 Base:

0-16 1/2lings Sneaky Git

0-3 Positionals

0-3 Treemen

RRs: 60k
Roster Bribes: 100k
Roster Chef: 150k
_____

Intention:

Still the lowest Tier team, but Sneaky Git all around (hard to see such small feet kicking), Right Stuff, and a third Treeman should make them think they can compete with the big boys.

3 trees?
Depends if they get loner again, 3 lonerless trees would make them a bit good

and what about a rostered chef?

Loner works. As does a rostered chef.

Are they still in a lower Tier?

not sure but an you imagine giving them enough inducements to face 3 trees and deeproot :D

Very Long Legs and Extra Arms... but keep at 0-2

and where are the Zon backroom staff?? ;)

Sneaky Git? I understand the logic and intention, but that's more fitting for Goblins... Halflings aren't essentially that evil/'gitty'. Not all of them at least!

remove sneaky, chef for 50k and 3 trees without loner. IMO.

or 2nd ed roster

lino 6 2 4 6 stunty, right stuff, dodge
catcher 7 2 5 6 stunty, right stuff, dodge catch

No trees. Would be a fun roster.

Instead of a third tree - give them Willow Rosebark and Puggy Baconbreath as extra positionals.

Willow Rosebark 5438 Loner, Dauntless, Side Step, Thick Skull 150k

Puggy Baconbreath 5336 Loner, Block, Dodge, Nerves of Steel, Right Stuff, Stunty 140k

Or a slimmed down version of the two stars:

0-1 Willow 5438 Thick Skull S access 90k (a mini-tree positional)
0-1 Puggy 5336 Dodge, Right Stuff, Stunty GA 100k (basic halfling with +ST and G access for 70k more)

Anyway - I always thought that just 2 trees now, but having Willow and/or Puggy would make them competitive in mid level TVs

like the idea of 3 trees somehow... and any team that would give up enough inducements for deeproot is allready a scary team that should be able to deal with 4 trees.

another idea that popped to my head is to stick with 2 trees and drastically decrease the costs for stars (inducements?) for them. i dont know if technically possible at all, but i could very well imagine that all kinds of stars would like to play a match with the flings...

Make the trees without loner...if it is 2 or 3 trees...but certainly no loner. Having no loner makes the trees viable - since you can gfi with them and dodge (if BT) - making it loner would just ruin them.

2 trees without loner > 3 trees with loner.
