Americas-Time Coaches! NCBB S. XXIX starts 5/19!
The NCBB season is coming to a close, and we're looking for more coaches. NCBB is a long-running college-themed league with lots of interesting fluff. Rivalries, coaches polls, all sorts of neat stuff actually influences the standings! It's a good place to get your feet wet and to make a name so you can join other leagues: a couple of the more exclusive Americas-time leagues (like the NBFL) recruit primarily from NCBB. Your first season you'll be in an all-rookie conference, so you won't be thrown to the wolves right away. This is also a good league for Aussie/Asian/Kiwi/WestPac coaches who can play during the day.
* 1 game a week
* 9 game season, plus a bowl game for winning teams
* Starts May 19, runs into August
* Good league for new coaches
* All-rookie conference your first season
* College themed: pick a college football team (best to make a short list) and make a team based on that
* 4 seasons per player
* Graduates play on in the NBFL
* Rivalry games influence standings
* Most games start between 00:00 and 06:00 server time, or between 18:00 and 06:00 on weekends

In addition to the NCBB being good fun on its own, it also gives you first crack at an open spot in the NBFL. Not too shabby, eh?

And Euros can play there too (with some flexibility when it comes to scheduling).

Yeah. Aussies who can play during the day and Euros who can play in the small hours both fit in just fine. It's time-zone dependent, not geography dependent.
