FUMBBL is in okay shape right now: Patreon is bringing in well over $300 a month, which pays for the basic day-to-day costs of running the site. However, Christer has told me that he has his eye on a hardware upgrade that, while not strictly necessary, will save him a bunch of time and free him up to think more about other ways to improve the site.

Enter the Ranked Amateurs.

We've beaten every team race. We've tied every team race. We've killed a member of every team race. We've raised about $2000 for FUMBBL over the years doing it. But you know what we haven't done? We haven't lost to every team race. Not for a lack of trying, we've already lost to 21 of them in great part due to the 3 previous incarnations of this challenge. But this time we're gonna finish it off for good.

For each race that the Ranked Amateurs lose to for the first time (Elven Union, Goblins, and Halflings eligible) between 1 July and 30 Sept, 2018, I will donate $5 to FUMBBL. So will several other coaches. The question is, will you?

$65 per team race that beats us for the first time
$15 per game we win against eligible races during the challenge period, up to $90 for 6 wins
$10 per game we win in excess of 6, up to $40 for 10 wins
$1 per team race the Amateurs beat during the challenge period (all races eligible)
$1 per Ranked Amateur permanently injured during the challenge period (all games eligible)
$2 per Ranked Amateur killed during the challenge period (all games eligible)
$1 per TD scored or allowed by Ranked Amateurs during the challenge period (all games eligible)
$3 per month (permanently, or for 1 year or longer) for each win by 3 or more TDs the Amateurs score against eligible races during the challenge period.
$76 flat (only $66 unless I play Do You Even LIFT, Bro?)

If you want to help FUMBBL get better at a minimal cost, here's your chance. Let me know also if you've got a good (or even just experienced) Goblin, Elf, or Halfling team, preferably one close to our TV, which hovers around 1700k ± 150k or so. Reply here or PM me if you want to pledge, and with the amount (minimum $1). The ask is $5 per team race that beats us for the first time, or if you're feeling generous, $5 per game we win against eligible races during the challenge period (max $50). Flat donations accepted also. Our goal for this fundraiser is $250; it's just a warm-up for the FUMBBL Cup job.
